  • Ursula is the consummate professional, I would personally recommend her to any organisation that requires assistance with their strategic and/or sales planning and implementation.

    We engaged Ursula, primarily to assist us develop and implement our growth strategy; with the engagement encompassing a full external and internal market review and analysis, the development of the appropriate strategy based on customer segmentation, the recruitment of appropriate personnel and the successful implementation of our outbound Sales “Hub”.

    In essence, this was a complete greenfield venture, changing the way our company engaged with its existing 3,000 strong client base. Unlike many consultants or contractors Ursula was very much “hands-on” throughout the whole process, owning it like a full time employee and accepting full accountability and responsibility for it’s success (or otherwise). From my perspective this was indeed refreshing from the approach taken by many consultants whom I have engaged historically where the focus has been on the high-level strategic component solely.

    As such, this this was very much an “end to end” engagement (from concept to full implementation) and required significant change management skills on Ursula’s behalf to successfully implement the revised operating model and functional structure of the sales team.

    While Ursula has a very open and engaging manner, she is not afraid to “tell it how it is”, something which I greatly valued through the whole process, again often outside the remit of her specific project.  All feed-back was delivered in a very constructive and helpful manner and her counsel was often sought by other members of the company’s Senior Leadership Group as well as her subordinates.

    Despite being actively involved in some challenging business decisions during the engagement, Ursula remained highly respected by the whole team at all times as evidenced by the outpouring of positive comments made to me when her engagement came to a conclusion.

    I would absolutely not hesitate to re-engage with Ursula again and sincerely hope we have the opportunity to work together again.
